My best guess is that those maps were done around 1983/4 when I was in 8th or 9th grade. I had gotten my hands on a manual for the Traveller roleplaying game and was pretty taken with the idea. At that time, though, the few kids I knew who were into roleplaying games pretty much played D&D exclusively. So these starship maps were pretty much for my own entertainment and were probably part of plans for a roleplaying campaign that never happened.
